Expander

Upper arch expanders offer a tremendous improvement in a narrow pointed arch. These narrow arches create all types of problems - impacted eye teeth, crossbite, protuding front teeth, poor facial balance. By expanding, we can avoid these and create much better function. Expanding must be done before growth has been completed or it must be done surgically. If you notice those with an attractive smile, you'll often notice they have a nice full broad arch and smile where the teeth fill out the smile line.
